Every summer I get a lot of opportunities to attend Anniversary celebrations, of course my attendance is the hired photographer, but anniversary celebrations are such an exciting session to me as it brings the entire family unit together with their children and grand kids.   It’s so much fun to find out where everyone lives and why they chose this area for their celebration.    Anniversary celebrations are also the absolute perfect time to capture family images!    It’s amazing how many people I meet that tell me they haven’t had a professional image of their own families either for a long time, or never.    oh sad…. make sure you get your images recorded, it doesn’t have to be annually, but do it before your children leave your home and go off to college, but if it’s at an anniversary, then, so be it.

This family was a hoot, it was soooooo windy that day, and sometimes you just can’t expect mother nature to be on her best behavior, so we shot between gusts!  Thankfully despite the wind, we got some beautiful images.  They celebrated their anniversary at the Hampton Inn in Bemidji MN which is such a gorgeous spot!
