Summer is my favorite season as it brings warmth and sunny lake days, and a fun busy portrait season which I wait all winter for. It’s no surprise that Northern Minnesota brings in many tourists whom are vacationing at their second home or an area resort to enjoy our beautiful lakes. Recently I had the pleasure of updating family portraits for a lovely family for the second time. Both times we used their gorgeous property on Birch Lake in Hackensack, Minnesota. The last time photographed them they only had one grand baby and now, they have five!

One of the most popular questions I’m asked is “Do you travel”? My answer to that is Absolutely! On-Location sessions are my favorite sessions as we get to explore new places and meet new clients, or returning to a familiar place with familiar faces and watching families grow!
