Remember that one day this summer that it rained… in the morning, the afternoon and the evening?Would you believe that I somehow managed to sneak a family portrait session in between that hot mess. Well, on my way to Grand Vu Lodge, which if you know where that is located, it is way the truck up there on Pine Point Road on Leech Lake. The reason I say that is because I was watching storm clouds roll in from the north moving south, and I’m heading north. Besides that it takes about 30 minutes to get there so I was sweating it.

Before I arrived, the mom that hired me said she would wrangle everyone and keep things organized so we could move quickly and efficiently before the inevitable. Well, she was not kidding, and kudos to my clients for doing an amazing job. I’m almost positive I photographed this family in record time, and yet we wound up with lots of fun and varied looks. Fastest photographer ever, right here! Lol.

Even though we did not get rained on, after the session, I jumped in my car, and three miles down the road.. sprinkles… WHEW!!!!!
