At long last… outdoor session time. Us Minnesotan’s have been cooped up way too long from the cold winter season so it was amazing to be outside.

This gorgeous and sweet family chose mid-spring for their family maternity session which boasted great weather and almost no bugs. Not only did we luck out with those two elements, but we coupled that with their AMAZING family property just outside of Walker, Minnesota. The leaves were just popping out on the trees and the grass was already green, making their location absolutely breathtaking.

Although we do have a studio space available, most of my clients wait for the spring, summer and fall seasons so they can be outdoors. I can’t say I blame them, it’s my favorite setting for sessions too. Outdoor sessions allow us to move and run around, especially if you have those little one’s that can’t sit still. Plus everyone is always WAY more comfortable and creates more casual portraits.
