A little while back I posted a story of one of my favorite salons .. Halo Salon, located in Laporte MN . I’d like to introduce their newest staff member Lisa and share a little bit about her and the services she offers!

1. Tell us a little bit about yourself/background?
We have lived in Laporte for 10 years. My husband Ben and I have 3 daughters. Amarah is 14, Ella is 9 and Bria is our angel in heaven. We love living in this area and raising our girls here.

2. How long have you been a “nail artist?
I have been doing nails since November 2013. I was a nurse for 10 years and needed to find something different to do. I have always been artistic and creative so this was a perfect outlet for me. I still get to be in that “caregiver role” with my clients

3. How long have you worked at Halo Salon?
I started working at Halo in December. I love it there. I call it “my happy place” Shyanne and Cherish are so fun to be around. Its such a wonderful atmosphere.

4. What services do you offer at Halo Salon
I do manicures and pedicures along with acrylic and gel nail extensions. I also brought a new service into Halo. I do semi-permanent lash extensions. I adhere a lash extension onto each individual natural lash, giving you the look of full dark lashes without the mascara! I love doing them. It never gets old seeing someone with a new set of lashes on. It’s so much fun.

I am currently in school to be a licensed esthetician. I am excited to bring different skin care treatments and relaxation massages into the salon.

5. Why should people consider coming to you for their nail services?
I am very creative and love to try new things. I love it when people bring pictures of new ideas for me to try!

6. Halo Salon’s hours of operation:
We are open Tuesday, Weds and Thurs 10-7 Fri 10-3 and Sat 10-3
